Driver Intervention Program (DIP) is a 72-hour residential program that is offered as an alternative to incarceration for persons arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This program has been approved by the Ohio Department of Alcohol & Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS).

This is a 72 Hour Residential Driver Intervention Program (DIP) for OVI offenders. Classes start on a Thursday night at 5:00 p.m. until Sunday night ending at 5:00-5:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 10603 Fremont Pike, Perrysburg, OH 43551, (Holiday Inn flyer, driving directions). Program cost is $345 with an option for a private room costing $470.

Upon completion registration information and full payment, the referring court or other referral source will be notified of the scheduled program date. The Safety Council’s registration hours are M-F, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This program is offered in the Toledo area at The Holiday Inn in Perrysburg, Ohio. They have partnered with the Safety Council of Northwest Ohio to provide the ideal learning environment for participants of Driver Intervention Program.
