Community Public
Relations
While
workplace safety requires much of our
attention, safety awareness in the community
is also important to us. Through support
from our members, we offer several free
services to the community annually,
including the Safety Patrol Leadership Camp
for sixth graders, Bicycle Safety Programs
in elementary schools, along with awarding
those who have risked their lives for others
at the Hero Awards Banquet. The Safety
Council also holds an industrial awards
banquet and has teamed up with the Toledo
Metropolitan Area Council of Governments to
offer free driving courses to its selected
individuals.
